Senior Manager, Advertising Sales - Sams MAP - Beverage Team Lead

Position Summary... What you'll do... Sam’s Club MAP is redefining retail media by leveraging first-party membership data to create measurable growth for our supplier partners. As Senior Manager, Advertising Sales – Beverage Team Lead, you’ll lead the strategic vision and revenue growth across a portfolio of high-impact beverage accounts. This is more than managing campaigns — you will shape category-level advertising strategy, build executive-level partnerships, and lead a high-performing team of three sellers to deliver sustained revenue growth. You’ll operate at the intersection of advertising, merchandising, analytics, and supplier strategy — thinking two steps ahead to anticipate challenges and unlock new opportunities. Success in this role means driving meaningful beverage revenue growth, strengthening cross-functional alignment, and building a resilient, forward-thinking team that thrives in a fast-moving environment. What You’ll Do Drive Beverage Revenue Growth Develop and execute a forward-looking sales strategy that expands MAP’s beverage advertising revenue year over year. Identify whitespace opportunities across brands, innovation launches, and seasonal programs. Build multi-quarter account plans that align supplier investment with Sam’s Club business priorities. Lead Executive-Level Partnerships Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders within beverage supplier organizations. Negotiate complex, high-value advertising agreements that create mutual growth. Influence decision-makers by translating data into compelling, category-level business cases. Own Forecasting & Performance Management Lead pipeline strategy, forecasting accuracy, and revenue pacing for the beverage portfolio. Proactively identify risks and course-correct before gaps impact results. Leverage analytics and first-party data to continuously optimize performance. Partner Cross-Functionally Work closely with merchandising partners to align advertising strategy with category priorities. Collaborate with internal MAP teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and innovation. Anticipate operational friction points and solve them before they escalate. Build & Lead a High-Performance Team Coach and develop a team of three sales professionals, elevating their strategic thinking and executive presence. Foster a positive, solutions-oriented environment — especially when navigating high-pressure moments. Model resilience, professionalism, and accountability in complex situations. What You’ll Bring Proven success leading advertising or retail media marketing or sales within CPG companies or retail media networks — ideally in beverage or adjacent categories. Proven success using AI to accelerate analysis, automate and accomplish goals with speed and accuracy. A track record of growing revenue through strategic planning, not just transactional selling. Executive presence with the ability to influence both supplier leadership and internal partners. Strong business acumen — you can translate data, trends, and financial metrics into actionable growth strategies. Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
