Job Overview
We are looking for a dependable and motivated part-time team member to join our dog boarding and daycare facility. This position is primarily focused on hands-on dog care, with some front desk and owner communication responsibilities as part of daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care
- Following routines, procedures, and basic instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by cleaning kennels, bedding, and common areas regularly
- Assist with grooming activities such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds and ability to stay active and busy during your shifts
- Comfortable working with all dogs of all sizes
- Having a positive attitude and working well as a team
Skills
- Background in dog care/veterinary is a plus but not required
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs
- Passion in caring for dogs!!!
*Must be able to work a mixture of weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
