Position Summary...Sam’s Club is building a Marketing Intelligence function from the ground up—and we need a leader who can turn marketing activity into measurable business impact. As Manager, Operations Analytics and Marketing Intelligence, you’ll help tell a consistent story of how marketing drives outcomes. You’ll partner with world-class data teams to design analytics solutions that connect campaigns to business objectives, optimize performance marketing, and leverage AI to unlock new insights. This is a rare opportunity to shape a new capability and influence how data powers marketing strategy at scale.

What you'll do...In your first year, success means delivering measurable outcomes across these key objectives:

  • Build the Marketing Intelligence Framework Define how marketing activities ladder up to business objectives. Develop models and dashboards that measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Lead Performance Marketing Analytics Drive insights for paid media channels, media mix modeling, and campaign optimization. Ensure marketing investments deliver maximum impact.
  • Partner with Data and AI Teams Collaborate with analytics and data engineering partners to design scalable solutions. Champion AI-driven approaches to improve speed, accuracy, and predictive capabilities.
  • Create Executive-Level Storytelling Translate complex data into clear narratives for senior leadership. Use visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Python libraries to influence decisions.
  • Establish Data Governance and Quality Standards Implement processes that ensure data accuracy, compliance, and usability across marketing analytics.
  • Mentor and Grow Talent Develop team members and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and AI adoption

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven ability to connect marketing activities to business outcomes through analytics.
  • Expertise in performance marketing analytics, including media mix modeling and campaign optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (Python/R).
  • Strong understanding of data governance, quality management, and master data principles.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven analytics and a passion for leveraging emerging technologies.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate insights clearly.
  • Leadership skills to manage projects and mentor team members, driving accountability and results.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).











Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. Option 3: 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
