This position is responsible for coordinating drivers, scheduling vehicle transfers, tracking transportation activity, and ensuring vehicles arrive safely and on time. What You'll Do
- Coordinate vehicle transportation between dealership locations, auctions, vendors, and customers
- Schedule and dispatch drivers based on daily transportation needs and priorities
- Monitor vehicle movement and maintain accurate transportation records
- Communicate with dealership managers regarding vehicle transfer requests and timelines
- Ensure drivers have all necessary information, paperwork, and instructions for assignments
- Track the status of vehicle deliveries and pickups and provide updates as needed
- Assist with dealer trades and inventory transfers
- Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency and reduce delays
- Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Support dealership operations through effective planning and communication
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing needs
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in logistics, dispatching, transportation coordination, automotive operations, or a related field is preferred
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Full-time salaried position
- Monday through Saturday
- Hours may vary based on transportation demands, dealership needs, and business operations
