Duties
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Accurately input orders into the Aloha POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all items are presented attractively.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Process payments using cash registers or POS systems efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
- A culinary background or training is advantageous but not mandatory.
