Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales-Focused Event DJ to join our expanding team.
This role is pivotal in driving business growth by actively promoting our services, securing new clients, and enhancing our brand presence in the event industry, all while being an all-star DJ and MC.
Responsibilities:
Luxury Event DJ/MC:
- Serve as the Associate DJ and MC for weddings, corporate events, and other high-profile gatherings, ensuring flawless execution and a memorable entertainment experience.
- Curate personalized playlists and mixes to suit the unique preferences and atmosphere of each event.
- Seamlessly coordinate with event planners, venue staff, and other vendors to ensure smooth transitions and a cohesive timeline.
- Deliver professional and engaging MC services, maintaining energy and flow while keeping the audience engaged.
Sales Outreach:
- Proactively reach out to potential clients via phone calls, emails, and networking efforts to generate leads and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Conduct detailed consultations with prospective clients to understand their event needs and present our DJ services as the ideal solution for their special occasion.
- Develop and maintain strong connections with clients, venues, and industry professionals to foster partnerships, encourage repeat business, and expand our network.
- Actively represent Sam Diego Events at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our brand and strengthen our market presence.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a DJ of all genres of music and a willingness to DJ all types of events.
- Basic knowledge of amplified sound, microphones, and lighting.
- Experience as an MC or public speaking is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the event services or entertainment
industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage
effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for achieving sales targets and
growing the business.
- Knowledge of event planning processes and trends is a plus.
