What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rebar Installer position at SAM Construction Group LLC?
This position is located in Maricopa, AZ
Duties:
- Using pliers to tie wire around rods to fasten them together.
- Positioning and securing rods, cables, mesh, or rebar in concrete forms.
- Figuring out the quantity, size, and shapes of reinforcing rods and determining where to place them.
- The job requires carrying heavy loads and spending many hours standing, as well as bending and stooping down to install rebar.
- Basic Math skills are required to measure and cut rebar to fit project specifications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience performing rebar installation is required.
