What are the responsibilities and job description for the Producer position at Salvi?
About the Role: Salvi Media is hiring a part-time Producer on a contract basis to lead video production for projects as needed. This is a producer role, but directing photography and editing are required functions of the job. Applicants must be fully capable of executing all three. You'll work alongside our production team and clients.
What You'll Do
- Produce video projects from concept through delivery: pre-production, scheduling, crew coordination, on-set management, and post-handoff
- Serve as Director of Photography — own camera, lighting, and visual direction on set
- Handle editing — cuts, revisions, and finishing across project deliverables
- Collaborate with Salvi Media's team and execute with independent contractors
- Attend client meetings during project onboarding and as ongoing work requires
- Maintain a polished, client-facing presence representing Salvi Media across engagements
What We're Looking For
- 10 years of professional experience in video production, primarily as a producer
- Required: strong, demonstrable experience as a Director of Photography and as an Editor — this is a three-in-one role, and all three skill sets must be in place
- Comfortable running a shoot as a small-crew operation
- Excellent communicator, organized, and reliable on a flexible project-based schedule
- Experience with corporate or brand video preferred
Logistics
- Part-time, 1099 contract, project-to-project
- Rate: negotiable based on experience and scope of each project
