Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician - Basic to join our emergency response team. The EMT-B will provide critical pre-hospital care to patients in various emergency situations, ensuring their safety and stabilization during transport. This role requires a strong foundation in patient assessment and basic life support, with the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments such as trauma centers and urgent care settings. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses.
- Compliance with medical protocols.
- Assist with the transport of patients
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Manage medical equipment as needed for patient treatment.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Experience
Candidates should possess a valid EMT-Basic certification and demonstrate proficiency in essential skills such as patient assessment, triage, and medication administration. Experience working in private ambulance/IFT setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to apply aseptic techniques are also important for success in this role. Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing compassionate patient care are essential attributes for an effective EMT-Basic. Must have CPR Certification (or obtain within 7 days of onboarding) and valid TX Drivers License (or obtain within 90 days of onboarding).

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
