Are you passionate about the automotive repair industry and skilled at building lasting business relationships? Salus Vehicle Solutions, a leader in advanced diagnostics and ADAS calibration, is seeking an Account Development Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our customer engagement and growth strategy, adapting visit routes for prospects, follow-ups with existing clients, and developing new partnerships with body shops, glass shops, collision centers, and other automotive service providers in your territory.

This Is Not A Sales Job.

This role is all about establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with prospects and our current customers. It is very important to use to distinguish the difference of this position from a typical "sales" role. In those types of positions, pay is usually based solely on commissions and therefore, the focus is on get as many sales as possible. This creates an environment where every prospect or customer has an inherent value, and that is not what Salus Vehicle Solutions is about. Our Account Development Specialists get their foot in the door with prospects, get to know them and their business, build relationships, discover their business pain-points, and then provide specific solutions that our company can provide, while educating them on the benefits and necessity of our services. It's about being a partner and a valuable resource, not a high-force sales pitch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Sales Routes: Plan and manage visits to existing customers while identifying new prospects.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Establish trust and rapport with body shops, collision centers, glass shops, and other automotive service providers.
  • Present Solutions: Showcase Salus’ services and advantages, emphasizing our commitment to OEM standards and safety.
  • Identify Customer Needs: Provide tailored solutions to increase service adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Track and Report: Monitor sales activities, customer feedback, and market trends; report findings to your supervisor.
  • Collaborate Internally: Work with operations and management teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
  • Represent Salus Professionally: Uphold our reputation for excellence and reliability in every interaction.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Minimum 3 years in the automotive repair industry.
  • Sales Expertise: At least 2 years of proven success in account development and relationship management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with body shops, collision centers, glass shops, and related services.
  • Communication Skills: Clear, persuasive, and professional in both verbal and written interactions.
  • Time Management: Ability to plan routes, prioritize visits, and manage your schedule independently.
  • License & Background: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and background check required.
