We’re now seeking a Front of House Manager to lead our front of house program across service, café and bar operations.
Position Overview
The Front of House Manager is responsible for curating a positive guest experience for all guests, ensuring the cleanliness of the facilities, maintain a professional, working environment for all employees and ensuring café and bar operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Director of Finance to accurately manage all restaurant financials and maintain profitability targets, including implementing and enforcing property invoice and cash-handling procedures
- Understanding of COGS reports, inventory management and labor management systems
- Ensure entire facility maintains excellent cleanliness and repairs standards
- Oversee café and bar costs, labor management, inventory, invoice tracking and timely ordering.
- Manage scheduling and labor management of front of house staff including café and bar personnel
- Work with Bar team to maintain and grow beverage program, including participating in sales tracking, forecasting, COGS and vendor relationship management and activations.
- Ensure execution of all service standards and provide real-time coaching and feedback on service excellence
- Track accurate daily check outs, tip reporting, clock-ins/break tracking, time off requests and schedule management
- Uphold a positive, inclusive and motivating front of house culture
Qualifications
- 3 years of Front of House Manager or Leadership experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant.
- Proven ability to lead teams in a high-volume, craft-forward environment.
- Manager ServSafe certification required.
- Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
- Passion for hospitality and building meaningful guest experiences.
- ABC LEAD certification a plus.
