Duties
As a Cafe Team Member, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
- Preparing food and beverages according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operating the Square POS system for order processing and cash handling accurately.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the cafe area, including dining spaces, kitchen, and service counters.
- Assisting with inventory management, including stock replenishment and waste reduction.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or grocery store setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Experience with cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- A proactive attitude towards helping others and working as part of a team.
