SMA is an award-winning firm looking for an energetic and motivated Project Architect/Specialist to join our team. The responsibilities include assisting Project Managers in the management and administration of projects, a compilation of data, performing design computations, preparation of estimates, review of shop drawings, and production of architectural construction documents.
**IN-HOUSE / HYBRID POSITION - Fort Lauderdale Office**
Hybrid Office: 3 days at the office/2 days at home after 90-Day Intro period.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Architecture (preferred) or equivalent degree
- Proficiency in the following is required: Revit, BIM360, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- At least six months of experience in architectural design
The applicant must be:
- a self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting with knowledge and interest in environmental and sustainable design
- strong technical and graphic ability
- The candidate must be attuned to the company's missions and values
