Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their tables in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests.
- Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations or providing information as needed.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, enhancing guest relations.
- Assist in maintaining the overall ambiance of the restaurant, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Previous host/host experience preferred, with a background in food service or hospitality.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is a plus, particularly in guest services or serving roles.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
