Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Customer Service Professional to join the SaltwaterAquarium.com team on location in Gettysburg PA!
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued clients, providing exceptional support and ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. Normal shift hours are an 8 hour period between 8-5. Your positive attitude, strong communication skills (phone, email, chat) and ability to handle multiple tasks will drive customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in customer support, sales, and client services within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or live chat, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Assist customers with product information, order processing, and troubleshooting issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Conduct outbound calling campaigns to follow up on inquiries, gather feedback, or promote new products and services.
- Manage data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications and other computer systems to update customer records and transaction logs.
- Support client services by resolving complaints efficiently, escalating complex issues when necessary, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes and contribute to a cohesive call center environment.
Skills
- Saltwater Aquarium and/or Freshwater Aquarium Expertise a Plus.
- Comfortable with using a computer, AI searches and you must be able to type without looking at the keyboard.
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency in English plus additional languages to serve diverse clients effectively.
- Strong sales aptitude with the ability to upsell or cross-sell products confidently.
- Excellent customer support skills combined with professional call center experience.
- Demonstrated ability in data entry, analysis skills, and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with solid computer skills.
- Effective outbound calling techniques coupled with good phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patience and professionalism during high-volume interactions.
