Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position based in Alexandria, VA, for an Antenna Engineer. The Antenna Engineer will be responsible for designing and testing advanced antennas, conducting electromagnetic simulations, and optimizing performance for various applications. By leveraging skills in microwave engineering and mobile communications, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions. The role also requires evaluation of prototypes, using tools like network analyzers, and troubleshooting any performance challenges.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Antenna Design, Baseband, and Electromagnetics
- Experience with Layer 1 and 2 Engineering and working with high/low-frequency technologies
- Skilled in utilizing Network Analyzers and other testing equipment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in antenna and RF systems
- Working knowledge of simulation tools for electromagnetic analysis
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field
- Experience or interest in Plasmonic technology and applications is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with a technical team on-site in Alexandria, VA
