What are the responsibilities and job description for the Market Booth Associate – Salt & Sugar Bakery position at Salt & Sugar?
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable person to help us run our Salt & Sugar stand at the Central Market . The job includes helping customers, packaging pastries, handling the register, restocking items, and keeping the area tidy.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with a positive attitude
- Handle cash and card transactions using Square POS
- Restock pastries, drinks, and packaging materials
- Keep the display area clean and organized
- Assist with setup and closing of the stand
Requirements:
- Friendly and dependable personality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and communication skills
- Must be 18 and available during market hours (Tues, Thurs & Sat 8am -2pm)
- Previous food service or retail experience is a plus but not required
Projected Total Compensation: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
