Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support restaurant operations.
- Utilize Restaurant 360 software for financial reporting and analysis.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly financial summaries for management.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and systems.
- Support payroll processing and employee record management.
- Ensure timely filing of all financial documents and reports.
- Assist with audits and tax preparation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a relevant financial position, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Proficient in using Restaurant 360 software or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
