Part Time Home Cleaner

Salt Sage Cleaning Co. is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our growing team! Our cleaners play an essential role in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for our clients and guests.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys working independently in a fast-paced environment. Cleaning assignments may include vacation rental properties, residential homes, and other client properties throughout the area.

The ideal candidate is dependable, takes initiative, follows cleaning procedures and checklists, and understands that the small details make a big difference. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, with cleaning assignments based on business and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and prepare residential and vacation rental properties to Salt Sage Cleaning Co. standards
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize all required areas
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces
• Clean appliances, fixtures, countertops, furniture, and other surfaces
• Change, wash, dry, fold, and properly organize linens and towels as needed
• Make beds and prepare properties to ensure they are guest-ready
• Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, paper products, and other designated items as needed
• Inspect work areas carefully to identify missed items, damage, or maintenance concerns
• Follow all company cleaning checklists, procedures, and quality standards
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail while working efficiently within assigned timeframes
• Safely use cleaning products, equipment, and tools according to company guidelines
• Perform occasional outdoor cleaning tasks, including porches, patios, entryways, and other exterior areas as needed
• Communicate professionally with management, team members, clients, and guests when necessary
• Report property damage, maintenance concerns, missing items, or supply shortages promptly
• Work independently or as part of a team while maintaining consistent quality
• Maintain professionalism and respect the privacy of clients and guests at all times
• Perform other cleaning-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous residential, vacation rental, housekeeping, or professional cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, checklists, and company procedures
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong time management skills and ability to complete assignments within scheduled timeframes
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and carrying cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ability to maintain a consistent level of quality while working efficiently
• Professional and respectful communication skills
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative
• Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs and cleaning schedules
• Reliable transportation to and from assigned properties
• Must be comfortable working in homes and vacation rental properties
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality and respect client and guest privacy
