The Senior Application Administrator, serving as a Senior ITIL Analyst, acts as the process owner for key ITIL disciplines that support Service Management across Operational Technology Services (OTS), primarily leveraging the ServiceNow platform.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Operational Technology Service Delivery, this role drives the ITIL roadmap and strategic direction. It partners across teams to establish strong ITSM governance and ensures high-quality service delivery through defined service levels, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
As a trusted partner to OT business stakeholders, the Senior ITIL Analyst collaborates closely with ITSM and ServiceNow platform teams to translate business needs into clear functional requirements, scalable process designs, measurable success metrics, and sustainable operational solutions.
What You'll Do
A bachelor's degree relevant to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
Experience
This position may be filled at one of three levels outlined below, based on the candidate’s relevant education, experience, or a combination of both that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and competencies.
Level I — Associate: In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 4 years may be considered.
Level 2 – Journey: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 6 years may be considered.
Level 3 – Senior: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 9 years may be considered.
Eligibility for advancement (progression) to the next level in the same role is based on overall job performance, mastery of all functional responsibilities, and time in position, as assessed by the supervisor.
Additional Requirements And Qualifications
The following skills/experience are preferred for this position:
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.

What You'll Do
- Provide technical support for various applications
- Install, configure, and test vendor software on Window and Linux servers
- Troubleshoot production issues for critical applications
- Write and execute test plans
- Plan future enhancements and releases
- Collaborate with internal business groups on enhancements and new technologies
- Communicate upgrades and production issues with internal business groups
- Coordinate with internal IT groups in Networking, Server, Database, and Desktop to support vendor applications and address business needs
