Salt Lake Culinary Education (SLICE) is Utah's award-winning culinary school, offering an accelerated professional chef program, hands-on recreational cooking classes, private events, corporate team-building experiences, catering, and more. We are seeking an exceptionally organized, detail-oriented Office Manager & Admissions Coordinator to become the operational hub of our growing company. If you enjoy juggling multiple priorities, creating order from chaos, and take pride in getting every detail right, we'd love to meet you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Admissions & Student Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students by phone, email, and in person.
- Guide prospective students through the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment.
- Schedule and conduct campus tours.
- Follow up with prospective students and answer questions about our programs, financing options, and scheduling.
- Process enrollments and maintain accurate student records.
- Build positive relationships with prospective and current students while providing exceptional customer service.
Office & Operations
- Build and maintain recreational classes, professional programs, and private events within our registration system.
- Create accurate class schedules, event timelines, chef packets, and supporting materials.
- Coordinate calendars, staffing schedules, facility usage, and operational logistics.
- Maintain clear communication between office staff, chef instructors, and event staff to ensure every class and event is well organized.
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries.
- Maintain website content, reports, spreadsheets, and administrative records.
- Assist with bookkeeping and other administrative duties as needed.
- Support the team with additional projects and responsibilities as our company continues to grow.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR THIS POSITION
- Minimum one year of administrative or office management experience.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and help wherever needed.
- Dependable, accountable, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coordinating schedules or events.
- Experience maintaining website content.
- Experience creating content for social media.
- Experience with CRM, registration, or scheduling software.
- Interest in food, cooking, hospitality, or culinary education.
