Head Coach – Girls Wrestling (East High School)
East High School is seeking a passionate and committed individual to serve as the Head Coach for Girls Wrestling. This position is essential to the continued growth and success of the girls wrestling program and plays a critical role in promoting athletic excellence, personal development, sportsmanship, and school pride.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous high school wrestling coaching experience is preferred but not required

Experience working with high school students in an athletic or mentorship capacity
-
Demonstrated ability to develop athletes at various skill levels
-
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Required Certifications/Trainings:
The following certifications must be completed and uploaded to coach.registermyathlete.com upon job offer and prior to completing a criminal background check:

Coaching Endorsement (PE/Coaching Degree or NFHS "Fundamentals of Coaching")

Current First Aid and CPR Certification

NFHS "Concussion in Sport"

NFHS "Sudden Cardiac Arrest"

NFHS "Heat Illness Prevention"

NFHS "Bullying, Hazing, and Inappropriate Behaviors"

Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training

Utah Educator Professional Standards (Read and E-sign)

SLCSD Vector Trainings (to be completed after hire and before beginning any coaching responsibilities)
