Location: The Granary, SLC
Schedule: Average 8-10 hrs/wk - additional hours for special events etc. (may hold additional roles if seeking more hours)

About the Role
Facilities Technicians are responsible for maintaining a safe, presentable, and well cared for facility at each Bouldering Project location. They are key to ensuring that the physical environment meets the high-quality standards expected by our members and guests. The technician works closely with the Facilities Manager and co-workers to complete tasks related to cleanliness, maintenance, and customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- Perform regular HVAC maintenance duties including filter maintenance and changes.
- Maintain a clean and organized facility
- Proactively address member needs and maintain a clean, inviting space.
- Assist with larger scale operations and capital facilities projects
- Execute basic facility maintenance and minor repair tasks
- Clean exterior grounds
- Have friendly customer relationships, provide assistance when needed, and direct customers to appropriate team members.
- Respond to accidents and incidents following BP safety protocols
- Complete incident reports accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with the Facilities Manager and team to ensure an excellent member experience
What You’ll Bring - Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality of work
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, cleaning, operating equipment, work on ladders, and work on unstable surfaces
- Comfort working in loud environments
- Experience using power tools
- Visual acuity to perform detailed tasks
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to follow procedures and safety standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, facilities maintenance, or customer service
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
