Salt Lake Behavioral Health is a private freestanding 118-bed treatment center offering comprehensive services for the adult patient population. Program offerings address general psychiatric and dual diagnoses treatment issues, including substance abuse and specialty treatment programs for military personnel.
Salt Lake Behavioral Health is conveniently located in Salt Lake City approximately 10 minutes from the SLC airport and downtown area.
We are seeking an Adult General Psychiatrist to lead our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU).
DETAILS:
- Population: Inpatient general adult patients, moderate to moderate-high acuity.
- Duties: Daily care of assigned patients including admissions, discharges, follow ups, patient documentation, lead treatment team, etc.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, days only.
- No weekends or Call required.
- Daily caseload: Average of 13-15 encounters per day.
- NP/PA collaboration: Highly preferred (Up to two).
- Optional: Work with Addiction/SUD and/or military population.

EDUCATION/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
- Board status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.
- Degree: MD/DO degree from an accredited program required.
- Medical License: Licensed to practice in the State of UT or the ability to obtain UT medical license.
- Other: Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
