What will I Do?

You will work in an excellent new ballpark, with a great team, creating lasting memories for our guests and fans. You will be responsible for the Grounds Crew; overseeing the preparation and maintenance of The Ballpark at America First Square. You will report to the Filed Operations Manager.

The position will:

• Effectively assist in managing and training part-time Grounds Crew teammates.
• Assist with batting practice set up and tear down
• Assist with all day-to-day practices concerning the turf, skin, mound, plate, bullpens, warning track, fertilizer application, etc.
• Prepare field for game and conduct post-game clean up
• Ensure that industry quality standards and specifications for the playing surface are met or exceeded
• Safely and successfully operate machinery

What are the requirements of the Job?

• Experience in sports turf management preferred
• Experience managing a team preferred.
• Interest in field maintenance
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Work under fast paced, high stress situations
• Often required to work long hours and be available when needed or as business requires (including holidays, nights and weekends)
• Must be able to work most home games (approximately 100 games) and non-Bees games (occurrence is variable)
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and weeknights

What is the wage?

The wage is $16.00/hour.

Is this part-time or full-time?

This is a seasonal (March-October) Full-time position. Must be able to start by the first week of March for training.
