Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

• Assist the orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures
• Place and remove brackets, wires, bands, and orthodontic appliances
• Take digital scans, photos, and X-rays as needed
• Prepare and efficiently turn over treatment rooms
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and at-home care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow sterilization protocols
  
  

Qualifications

You will be required to possess the following:

• Prior orthodontic assisting experience required
• Active dental assisting certification/license per Oregon requirements
• Strong understanding of orthodontic workflow and procedures
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy, high-volume practice
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills
