Position Summary:
Salpointe Catholic High School is developing a groundbreaking student wellness program and seeks an experienced program director, with a proven track record of creating and implementing innovative youth programs, to elevate and accelerate the growth of the program. This position reports directly to the president and will be responsible for ensuring the holistic wellness education of 1300 students. The best applicant for this position has experience in comprehensive wellness programs, enjoys working with high school students, is enthusiastic about the opportunity to build something completely new, and has a strong desire to work in a collaborative and supportive community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
Experience in program development and management
Experience with wellness research and programs
Duties include:
Continue the development of a holistic wellness program, based on Salpointe’s eight dimensions of wellness (physical, emotional, spiritual, social, environmental, intellectual, vocational, financial) and according to the stated philosophy and goals of the program
Demonstrate a passion for wellness and be a role model for healthy lifestyle practices
Create programming, provide educational tools, and facilitate group activities and workshops for students
Work to increase student participation in wellness activities and evaluate program impact using data analysis
Develop and maintain partnerships with external community agencies and resources
Oversee budgeting and financial management
Develop promotion and publicity plans for the wellness program throughout the school and in the community
