What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Experience Manager position at Salon Honey and Sage?
Guest Experience Manager – Salon Honey Sage
St. Johns, Palencia & St. Augustine, FL | Full-Time
From Luxury Hospitality to Luxury Beauty
Have you run the front of house at a boutique hotel, fine dining restaurant, luxury spa, or private club? Salon Honey Sage is looking for a hospitality leader to bring that same level of service to our three salons across St. Johns and St. Augustine.
This isn’t a reception role. You’ll be the face of Honey Sage and the person who defines what it feels like to walk through our doors, then teach our front desk team to deliver that experience every day.
About Us
Salon Honey Sage is a growing, team-focused salon carrying Kevin Murphy, Davines, R Co, REF, and RŌZ. With our newest location opening in St. Augustine, we’re investing in a guest experience that sets us apart.

- Anticipate guest needs and turn ordinary visits into memorable ones
- Handle VIP guests, special requests, and sensitive situations with grace
Train & Lead the Front Desk Team
- Hire, train, and coach front desk team members in luxury hospitality standards
- Teach the details that matter: warm greetings, eye contact, using guests’ names, reading the room, and graceful recovery when something goes wrong
- Develop service standards, scripts, and training materials, and hold the team to them
- Role-play, observe, and give real-time feedback across all three locations
- Build a team culture where guest care comes first
Service Recovery & Guest Relations
- Personally resolve guest concerns and turn unhappy guests into loyal ones
- Monitor reviews and guest feedback, and use them to improve the experience
- Partner with stylists and management to keep service seamless from front desk to chair
Keep the Experience Running Smoothly
- Oversee booking, rebooking, and scheduling so guests and stylists are well cared for
- Ensure lobbies and front desks feel polished, calm, and on-brand
- Oversee daily cash procedures and reporting with the front desk team
- Guide the team in thoughtful, consultative retail recommendations
- Help launch the guest experience at our new St. Augustine location
