Duties
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and special treatments using advanced techniques like balayage or highlights.
- Provide grooming services such as straight razor shaves and barbering to meet diverse client needs.
- Deliver beauty enhancements through makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, and hair threading.
- Utilize salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, managing client profiles, and processing retail sales efficiently.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations according to health regulations.
- Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable products and upsell retail items confidently while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing bookings, and supporting store management operations to ensure smooth daily flow.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in color theory, retail math, and advanced styling techniques to foster a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license.
- Proficiency in hair coloring techniques, hair extensions application, and styling tools.
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members alike.
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales, upselling products, and retail math calculations to meet sales goals.
- Expertise in sanitation practices adhering to health regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
