Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of beauty treatments including hair styling, cutting, coloring, hair treatments, facial waxing, manicures, and pedicures.
- Utilize feather razors, and scissors/ thinning shears for precise haircuts and styling techniques.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate clients on the benefits of various beauty products.
- Assist in sales by recommending products that meet client needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations as well as state board regulations.
- Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries.
- Collaborate with salon owner to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Ongoing education and training will be provided
Experience
- Proven experience as a Cosmetologist or in a similar role within the beauty industry. 2 years working in a salon required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Commission based pay
