What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Hairstylist/Cosmetologist position at Salon 01?
Job Overview:
We offer a 6-9 month Associate Program at $15/hr tips for new cosmetology school graduates!
1. You will be partnered with a top-level stylist & educator. Daily training with your educator will include:
- Learning to multi-service guests.
- Learning to recommend & sell retail.
- Learning to set & track daily sales & retail goals.
- Learning all protocols & retail knowledge.
2. Each morning, you will get an overview of your day & potential opportunities. Each evening, you will get a chance to debrief & go over the day's achievements as well as missed opportunities.
3. As you move closer to being on the floor, you will earn Opportunity Days in which you can bring in clients to showcase your work at 50% of Level 1 Stylist pricing.
4. Upon completion, you will become a Level 1 Commissioned Stylist ready to take clients on your own while still getting to work in a team-based atmosphere!
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of beauty services including haircuts, styling, coloring, & treatments alongside your educator.
- Engage in retail sales of beauty products.
- Upsell services & products to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs & preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area & work with team to complete salon duties.

Requirements:
- Indiana Cosmetology License
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
