Located in Belton, MO, Salmon SpeedWorx is a rapidly growing automotive customization and performance shop focused on providing customers with a true one-stop solution for aftermarket upgrades, repairs, and vehicle personalization.

From performance upgrades and suspension systems to wheels/tires, vinyl wraps, detailing, spray-in bedliners, exhaust systems, and general automotive service work, our team works on a wide range of exciting projects every day. We pride ourselves on quality work, strong customer relationships, and creating an enthusiast-driven atmosphere for both customers and employees.

As our company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Parts & Service Advisor to become a key member of our front-office operations.

Duties:

  • Greet customers and assist with vehicle service and accessory inquiries
  • Build estimates and service recommendations for customers
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate workflow with technicians
  • Communicate with customers regarding repair updates, recommendations, and timelines
  • Source and order automotive parts and accessories
  • Assist customers with performance upgrades, suspension components, wheels/tires, and other aftermarket products
  • Manage work orders and maintain accurate documentation
  • Work closely with technicians to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and correctly
  • Upsell appropriate services and products based on customer needs
  • Help maintain organization and professionalism at the front counter and showroom

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an automotive Service Advisor is required
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
  • Performance automotive knowledge is highly preferred
  • Experience sourcing and ordering automotive parts
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using shop management software is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

Preferred Candidates:

Our preferred candidate will have prior dealership, independent shop, or performance shop experience and be comfortable discussing repairs, aftermarket upgrades, suspension systems, wheels/tires, and performance parts with customers.

Candidates who are passionate about automotive culture and can confidently build customer relationships while maintaining professionalism will stand out.

About the Role:

This is one of the most important positions in our company and serves as the face of Salmon SpeedWorx for many customers. We are looking for someone who can provide a professional customer experience while helping drive shop efficiency and sales growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the automotive industry but wants to be in a leadership-oriented customer-facing position rather than turning wrenches full-time.
