Salmon Two Rivers K-8

Special Education Paraprofessional

Full-Time

The qualified candidate will work 36 hours per week, Monday through

Thursday, working with students under the

supervision of a classroom teacher in a group setting.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Job location is at the Salmon Two Rivers K-8 or Salmon Jr./Sr. High
  
  

School

• Reports for Teacher and SPED Coordinator
• Candidate works with teachers, and children to accomplish educational
  
  

and behavioral goals

• Assist student within the classroom and in the resource, room setting
  
  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Maintains confidentiality of student information
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with others including staff, students, and
  
  

parents

• Ability to work with school children
• Employment is conditional upon passing a background investigation.
  
  

(Fingerprint and background

investigation expenses are paid by the applicant.)

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Physical demands may include standing, sitting, walking, or lifting
  
  

for extended periods of time
