Overview

This position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced warehouse setting while adhering to safety protocols.
Job Summary:
- Prepare batches of raw materials for production processing according to specifications and established procedures. Obtains materials from inventory and utilizes scales to accurately weight ingredients and add to processing equipment. Setting up daily for next batches. Performs testing & cleaning daily. Completing every order with quality from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the correct weighing, bagging, tagging and mixing of materials per formula sheets. This position will weigh, mix, and stage all compounds for each batch to be made
- Using small and large scales to weigh proper measurements for chemicals in batches
- Completing documentation & labeling for orders
- Measure various items with precision, ensuring compliance with function, quality, safety and written specifications
- Cleaning tank & work area
- Completing testing when needed for products
- Completing equipment changeovers when needed for different products
- Follow all safety procedures & use of proper PPE
- Learning names & types of chemicals used to better understand process
Skill/Qualifications/Requirements:
- Follow written instruction
- Follow verbal instruction
- Maintain and care for equipment in production area
- Maintain and take good notes
- Speaks English – with good communication skills
- Self-motivated / Good time management skills
- Basic math skills / use of scales and willing to learn different measurements
- Experience with computers using Microsoft word & Excel
- You can lift up to 50 pounds repetitively over your head
- Fast and flexible learner
- Attention to detail & document control
- Understanding of manufacturing environment & willingness to learn manufacturing equipment. Examples- Pumps and mixers
- Flexibility to handle last-minute changes based on customer demand
- Pallet jack & Electrical pallet jack experience required. *Bonus- Fork lift experience*
- Work well with others, can be team player
- Assist in laboratory tasks as needed, supporting research and development efforts
