The Rehab Tech assists in preparing treatment areas, transporting residents, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth operations of the rehab department within a skilled nursing facility.

The Rehab Tech assists in preparing treatment areas, transporting residents, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth operations of the rehab department within a skilled nursing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist therapists in setting up and cleaning treatment areas.
- Transport residents to and from therapy sessions safely and efficiently.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of equipment and supplies.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, scheduling, data entry, and documentation assistance under the direction of licensed therapists.
- Monitor residents during therapy sessions for safety and comfort.
- Ensure equipment is sanitized and in good working condition.
- Support therapists in non-clinical tasks to optimize resident care and workflow.
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in staff meetings and training as required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehab setting preferred.
- Basic knowledge of physical therapy/occupational therapy principles is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to safely assist with resident mobility and transfers.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to assist with resident transfers and mobility activities.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with heavier loads using appropriate equipment or help.
- Skilled Nursing Facility; fast-paced and resident-focused.
- Collaborates closely with interdisciplinary team members.
Salary : $17 - $23
