Our team is growing, and we’re seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) to join our leadership team.
The Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) will assist the Director of Nursing (DNS) in overseeing all aspects of nursing operations. This leadership role is ideal for a registered nurse with strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a desire to mentor and support staff while ensuring the highest standards of resident care.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operations of the nursing department.
Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Participate in staff training, development, and performance evaluations.
Monitor quality assurance and infection control programs.
Assist with care planning, documentation, and resident/family communication.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote continuity of care and positive outcomes.
Step in as acting DNS when needed.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the State of Connecticut (required).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
