Position Summary
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will play an essential role in providing comprehensive psychiatric care for adults and older adults within our growing Southern California clinics. This clinician will practice at the top of their license, offering diagnostic evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and interventional treatments such as TMS, SAINT, and Spravato.
As a clinical leader, the PMHNP will help shape and oversee specialty programs, including our TMS and Spravato Clinics and pathways into Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). This position is ideal for a highly skilled, compassionate practitioner eager to innovate and elevate patient outcomes within a collaborative, evidence-based model of care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage care for adult and geriatric patients with a range of mental health conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans integrating medication management, psychotherapy, and interventional therapies.
Evaluate patient suitability for IOP and coordinate referrals to the appropriate level of care.
Manage and oversee patients undergoing interventional treatments, including TMS, SAINT, and Spravato.
Perform TMS mapping, remapping, and SAINT targeting while conducting thorough risk assessments.
Independently manage daily operations within the TMS and Spravato Clinics, ensuring safe, high-quality, and compliant care.
Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic, patient-centered treatment delivery.
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation according to medical and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing.
Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through ANCC.
Licensed and credentialed to practice independently in the State of California.
Eligible for or currently practicing under California B&P Code §2837.103 (“103 NP”) status.
Active DEA registration and current BLS certification.
Knowledge of or prior exposure to TMS and Spravato treatment protocols preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in interventional psychiatry, including TMS, SAINT, and Spravato (mapping, remapping, targeting, and risk assessment).
Experience coordinating and referring patients into IOP programs and managing multidisciplinary care.
Familiarity with California AB 890 NP practice standards, including progression toward §2837.104 (“104 NP”) independent practice.
Strong collaboration and communication skills within a physician-led, team-based environment.
Commitment to serving diverse populations with cultural sensitivity.
Comfort with clinical leadership, training, and mentorship of peers and staff.

Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this position includes:
Base Salary: $180,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, PTO, and additional benefits.
