DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dependable, professional, and service-oriented Catering Delivery Driver / Utility Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, takes pride in excellent customer service, and is comfortable supporting both deliveries and event operations.
The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering catering orders accurately and on time, assisting with setup for catered events, and supporting utility needs that help keep operations running smoothly. This position also includes occasional catering and event support as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food, beverages, supplies, and catering orders safely and efficiently throughout Sonoma County.
- Load, transport, and unload catering equipment and food orders with care and attention to presentation.
- Set up catering deliveries on-site in a professional and organized manner to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service when interacting with clients, guests, and team members.
- Assist management and event staff with room setups, party setups, and general event preparation.
- Support occasional catering functions and on-site event service as needed.
- Maintain company vehicles by keeping vans clean, organized, fueled, and ready for daily use.
- Complete routine weekly vehicle checks and promptly report maintenance or repair needs.
- Help with utility duties, including organizing equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting operational needs between deliveries and events.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
- Previous catering, hospitality, or event experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry catering equipment, food pans, beverages, and supplies.
- Strong punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule with availability for morning, day, evening, and weekend shifts.
