Duties
- Carefully sort, fold, and bag linens, garments, and textiles according to established standards
- Operate garment care machines such as industrial dryers, washers, and dry cleaning equipment with precision
- Handle laundry detergents and sanitation supplies safely, adhering to safety protocols in production areas
- Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads efficiently and safely
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by performing routine cleaning tasks and sanitation procedures
- Follow safety standards in production environments to prevent accidents and ensure proper manual handling techniques
- Assist with laundry services by loading/unloading machines, checking for garment quality, and ensuring proper textile care
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning, laundry services, or textile handling is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Basic math skills for measuring detergents and managing inventory counts
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently throughout the shift
- Customer service skills are a plus for interacting with team members or clients when necessary
- Familiarity with garment care machines, industrial dryers, or dry cleaning processes is advantageous but not mandatory
