Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building, renovating, and maintaining a variety of projects across commercial and residential sites. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up work areas.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support skilled tradespeople by handling tools, mixing concrete with mixers, and assisting with rebar installation and concrete forming.
- Operate power tools and hand tools properly to complete tasks like framing, trim carpentry, or masonry work.
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions for tasks such as metal stud framing, stucco application, or tile laying.
- Aid in the installation of hardscape features like walkways or patios and assist with roofing or restoration projects as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols on construction sites.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete pumping is required.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing strenuous tasks daily.
- Knowledge of framing, drywall, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, or caulking is required.
