The Golf Attendant is responsible for assisting in our Outside Operations , and providing excellent customer service. They are responsible for assisting golfers with their clubs and golf carts, as well as providing guests with golf-related directions, events, and great conversation. The Golf Attendant shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the SCP’s Culture & Core Values.
The Job
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Observing guest reactions and conferring frequently with team members to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guest complaints to over-the-moon satisfaction.
- Follow Hotel policies with lost and found items.
- Adhere to Hotel requirements for guest and team member accidents or injuries and in emergency situations.
- Continuously promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts.
- Customer Service: Greet and assist golfers with enthusiasm, providing information on tee times, course conditions, and other relevant details.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating golf events, tournaments, and outings.
- Respond promptly and courteously to golfer inquiries and requests.
- Bag Drop and Club Handling: Manage the bag drop area efficiently, assisting golfers with unloading and loading golf bags.
- Handle golf clubs with care, ensuring they are stored securely and returned promptly to golfers.
- Ensure golf carts are clean, charged, and ready for use; assist with the staging and storage of golf carts.
- Equipment Rental: Assist golfers with the rental and return of golf equipment, including clubs, pull carts, and motorized carts.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting the need for supplies necessary for day-to-day operations of their given areas.
- Keep in contact with the golf shop counter to ensure an efficient transition for golfers to the course. Coordinating with starters to keep the level of carts and cart keys abundant.
- Refer all major problems/complaints to a manager and/or assistant manager.
- Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events.
- Inspect, plan, and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay: $15.05 - $18.00 per hour
