What are the responsibilities and job description for the Land Surveyor position at Salish Geo?
Salish Geo is looking to hire a field and/or office tech
Home office space needed. - all personnel work from home then converge on site as needed for field work.
Work in the field on average 4 days per week. (field tech only)
Travel throughout the Puget Sound Region on a weekly basis
We are based in Tacoma, but the right candidate can live elsewhere. Paid for commuting to meet up location / job site is on a case by case basis.
Requirements
1 years in the field desired, depending on experience (must have a good mix between boundary and topographic mapping experience.
1 year using AutoCad Civil 3D (this is more negotiable and we will train the right person)
Driver’s license
Strong communication skills (required to interface with property owners and ready to handle adverse situations).
Willingness to work alone (there will be solo and two person field work, but alone on a computer with frequent collaboration and/or mentoring over the phone or zoom type conference calls)
