Join the dedicated Emergency Room team at Saline Memorial Hospital, where you'll make a meaningful impact by providing exceptional care to patients during some of their most critical moments. As an ER Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working alongside skilled physicians and healthcare professionals. Our Emergency Department is open 24/7 and is part of a Level III Trauma Center and designated Stroke Center, offering advanced emergency care close to home. How You'll Contribute
A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:
- Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
- Documents patient care provided.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
- Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a current state or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Required
- Licenses: Must have a current state or compact state RN license.
- Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
- Previous ER experience required
