Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure health stability.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and post-care instructions.
Experience
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Medical office experience with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems
- Pediatric nursing or working with children
- Geriatrics and senior care practices
Additional skills that are beneficial include knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, phlebotomy skills, and administering vaccines.
