What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Crew Lead position at Saline Landscape?
Saline Landscape Company is seeking reliable and skilled Crew Leads to join our team! The ideal candidate has experience in landscaping softscapes and hardscapes. Our Crew are responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the upkeep and beautification of outdoor spaces. Crew Leads must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Duties:
-Participate in landscape design and build projects, including interpreting a design and comprehending a work order.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mulching, weeding, pruning, and watering plants.
- Create custom hardscape features such as patios, walkways, fire pit areas, retaining walls, and steps.
- Operate and maintain equipment including skid-steers, excavators, truck/trailers, and loaders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve our goals and objectives.
Skills:
- Experience in hardscapes, softscapes, and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of gardening and landscaping techniques, including planting and sodding.
- Strong leadership and supervising skills to manage and guide team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced outdoor setting.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and guidelines.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Experience in welding and concrete is preferred but not required.

Schedule:
We expect our Crew Leads to work 10-12 hours per day, roughly 50 hours or more a week. Usually Monday-Thursday depending on weather.
