Duties
- Monitor inmate behavior through surveillance systems to prevent disturbances and ensure safety.
- Conduct regular patrols within the facility to oversee inmate movements and enforce security protocols.
- Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies using first aid, CPR, or law enforcement procedures as needed.
- Manage conflicts through effective conflict management techniques, de-escalating tense situations calmly and professionally.
- Write detailed reports documenting incidents, inmate behavior, and security breaches with clarity and accuracy.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations by conducting searches, inspections, and verifying compliance.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, security operations, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with report writing, conflict management strategies, and emergency response procedures.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to effectively respond to medical emergencies.
- Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
- Strong communication skills for clear report writing and effective interaction with inmates, staff, and emergency responders.
