Saline Care Nursing & Rehabilitation is looking for dependable and motivated individuals to join our dietary team as a Full-Time Cook and Dietary Aide.

Our dietary team plays an important role in making each day better for our residents. Whether you're preparing meals in the kitchen or helping serve residents, you'll be part of a team committed to providing quality food and excellent service in a clean, welcoming environment.

Positions & Pay

Cook – Full-Time
$16.00 per hour

Dietary Aide – Full-Time
$15.00 per hour

• Annual performance evaluation with the potential for a pay increase based on performance

• Must be available to work scheduled weekends and holidays as needed

Cook Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements

• Follow proper food preparation, portioning, and serving procedures

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and work area

• Follow food safety and infection-control guidelines

• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food and supplies

• Work with the dietary team to ensure meals are prepared accurately and on time

Dietary Aide Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and serving

• Prepare trays according to resident dietary needs

• Set up and clean dining and kitchen areas

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control guidelines

• Assist the Cook and dietary team as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Previous food-service experience is preferred but not required

• Long-term care or healthcare food-service experience is a plus

• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team

• Ability to follow instructions and resident dietary requirements

• Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and quality service
