Role Description
The Nutrition Aide will work full-time on-site in Salinas, CA, contributing to the health and well-being of patients by assisting with daily food service operations. Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, ensuring food safety and quality standards, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting in dietary needs as directed by dietitians. The role also involves supporting nutrition education efforts and collaborating with team members to provide optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Dietetics and Nutrition to support dietary requirements and meal planning.
- Experience with Food Preparation and Food Service, ensuring meals are prepared and served safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of Nutrition Education to guide and support patient education initiatives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or food service setting is a plus.
