Job Summary
Job Summary
Under direct guidance from certificated staff member or administrator, the Para-Educator I will perform a variety of instructional and clerical duties to support students' educational progress. May be assigned to work one-on-one with a student or groups of students in a variety of classroom settings to help students access the general education curriculum. Work is performed predominantly in classrooms or various parts of the school campus.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS MUST BE ATTACHED TO APPLICATION: - Cover Letter - Resume - High School Diploma or G.E.D. -Associate of Arts degree or higher required (must be attached to application) OR -48 college semester units (Unofficial transcripts must be attached to application; NOTE: Official transcripts will be required upon hire) OR -Successfully complete the District’s online Para-Educator assessment -Valid California Motor Vehicle Operators License NOTE: PLEASE ENSURE ALL APPLICATION FIELDS ARE COMPLETE AND REQUIRED DOCUMENTS ARE ATTACHED. Monday- Friday 7.5 hrs daily High Schools - 8:00 am - 4:00 pm w/ a 30 min. lunch Middle Schools - 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM w/ a 30 min. lunch
