Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Director of Salinas Adult School and with direction from the Chief Examiner, operates an assessment/exam center for adult students and the community; responsible for scheduling, security of testing materials, and the testing environment while implementing District and State timelines and policies.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: - Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university - Three (3) years of related experience Desirable Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in teaching, training, counseling or testing - Experience in a public education environment - Ability to communicate effectively in the Spanish language both verbally and in writing (Upon passing the District's PDL assessment, may provide interpretation in a second language (e.g., Spanish) and qualify for a stipend)

  • Copy of Transcript (College Transcripts (Must be at least an associate's degree) )
  • Letter of Introduction (Must be on Word or PDF document - photos are not acceptable)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Must include three (3) letters of recommendation)
  • Resume (Must be on Word or PDF document - photos are not acceptable)

Internal candidates will be placed based on CSEA Article VIII (8) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. - Benefits: This position includes a full benefit package of Medical, Dental, and Vision for employees and eligible dependents. - Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (8 hours with 1 hr lunch)/ Thursday 11:00am to 8:00pm (8 hours with 1 hr lunch)
